community conversations and workshops
hearth talks
Hearth Talks are my way of inviting people into conversations and opportunities to learn from each other about the matters that affect our common lives together. Matters less commonly explored that lie beneath the issues of today. Matters we can ony understand by listening to the marginalised voices within ourselves and our communities. Matters which, I believe, when actively engaged with on a community level can positively transform our lives together.
What are Hearth Talks?
Hearth Talks are group presentations, workshops and facilitated community conversations. They are opportunities for us to learn and grow whilst building stronger connections with each other.
When the centreground is no longer holding its weight and doing its job, then it is to the margins that we must turn. Hearth Talks hold space for ideas and for voices from the edges of ourselves and our communities, to reinvigorate and reimagine.

Hearth Talk subject matters are part of what I would refer to as culture, in the sense of the customs and beliefs that underlie our shared life together. They are an opportunity to reflect upon how things came to be as they are and how we could become more empowered to take more collaborative, compassionate action together. Hearth Talks are aimed at enabling greater unity and resilience within each of us and between all of us.
